The condolence message of H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, addressed to H.E. Margot Wallström, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, on the terrorist attack perpetrated on 7 April 2017 in Stockholm
Esteemed Colleague, Dear Margot,
I am deeply shocked and outraged by the heinous terrorist attack perpetrated in Stockholm, on 07 April 2017.
While condemning the attack, I share your grief at this difficult time and express Turkey’s full solidarity with the Government and the people of Sweden.
As Sweden’s friend and partner, Turkey maintains her solid determination and resolute efforts to co-operate in combatting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
On this sad occasion, I extend my deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wish the injured a speedy recovery.
