We are deeply saddened by the terrorist attack against the Governor’s office in Erbil, Iraq at noon yesterday (19 November), which resulted in the death of five people and injury of approximately 30 people according to the first estimates. We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack, wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to their families and hope for a speedy recovery to the wounded, among whom there is also one Turkish national.

Turkey will resolutely continue its strong support to friendly and brotherly people of Iraq in their fight against terrorism.
